This exhibition of 30 works on paper by artist Alfred Jacob Miller features mountain men in the fur trade, Native American life and traditions, panoramic landscapes, and wilderness, all subjects he encountered on his six-month journey to the Rocky Mountains in 1837.

Now in its 16th year, Eye on Third Ward documents the cultural fabric of the historic Third Ward Houston community and continues to inspire museum visitors along with the participants.
