Bayou Bend is a collection of American fine and decorative arts in the former home of noted philanthropist and Houstonian Ima Hogg. The home is surrounded by large formal, organically maintained gardens. Visitors enter Bayou Bend through the Lora Jean Kilroy Visitor and Education Center, where they learn more about the Hogg Family, select their tour option, and shop for unique retail items.
Bayou Bend offers more than 20 room settings that reveal the evolution of American style and taste from 1620–1876.
Bayou Bend is open year-round, with many programs for children, families, and adults.
